Yes, Spring is Happening Right Now
As I looked out my office window yesterday evening, I thought…is it still light out at 6pm? Yes. Did I just switch to a lighter coat? Yes. This can only mean one thing…my favorite time of year is approaching…warm weather shopping.
Now, how to make sure I’m not wasting my money on items I don’t need? I made a major shopping list after I evaluated my closet (and so should you). If I’m feeling super crafty I’ll make a mood board.
I spent some time over the last few days picking out items that will enhance the outfits I already have and the trends I want to rock this season.
Here’s a look into my already long shopping list. What are you purchasing for spring?

Oversize Clutches: I’ve been dying to add a few oversize clutches to my closet ever since I spotted them all over the street style photos from NYFW this year. This one from ASOS is perfection.
Floral Trousers: I’m used to wearing black (all black), so these floral trousers from Topshop will help me ease into this trend that I’m looking forward to trying out.
Tribal Print Skirts: I’m salivating over this beautiful tribal print skirt from Balmain. Obvi, I’m going to be looking for a lower priced version, but a girl can dream.
Neon Accessories: One of my New Year’s resolutions was to wear more color. Adding a sprinkling of neon accessories like this belt from Ann Taylor or this amazing necklace from DANNIJO is the perfect way to add a pop of color to any outfit.
Pastel Jeans: As I said before, I’m trying to step outside my comfort zone of wearing black, white and gray. I’ve never been big on pastels (ask my mother who tried to make me wear these colors when I was younger), but I’m so digging these mint jeans from DL1961.
Ankle Strap Heels: I love how delicate and sexy an ankle strap heel looks. The minute I saw Zara’s version online, they were in my shopping cart and on the way to my apartment.
